Chipton Ross is seeking a Master Scheduler 3 for an opening in Arlington, TX

The Master Scheduler is responsible for the overall program Statement of Work schedule integration, including creation of the WBS, Integrated Master Plan and Schedule (IMP/IMS). The position is responsible for budget and resource alignment in the IMS, baselines, and change control. The Master Scheduler must effectively collaborate with program management, the earned value team and engineering leads to plan, create, monitor and analyze schedules for program performance and related metrics. This position will perform ongoing schedule maintenance, monitor the health of the schedule, generate earned value metrics, and ensure the IPT has on-time, accurate reports.

Work with multiple functional disciplines such as engineers, manufacturing, operations, project managers, finance and systems engineers to develop and maintain project schedules to meet all program requirements.
Work with Microsoft Project Schedule on a daily basis to develop, manage, and track resource loaded schedules.
Utilize scheduling best practices to perform schedule health analysis and resolve logic conflicts.
Utilize Gantt, critical path, float, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and provide visibility of
performance variances to allow focus on critical areas.
Work with IPT's and other schedulers to manage the statement of work (SOW) to ensure schedule and budget/forecast are consistent across the program.
Analyze schedule for critical path, run what if scenarios, and be able to incorporate work around plans into the schedule as required.
Develop, run, and present necessary graphical reports and metrics to enable management decisions.
Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential development and production problems to ensure that mitigations can be put into
place in a timely manner.
Report on IPT cost and budgets (EVMS).
Support the Core scheduling team by developing and offering improvements on standard company policies and practices in the areas of scheduling and earned value

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of highly relevant, hands on experience working with Microsoft Project.
Experience with Primavera is desirable.
Extensive experience creating and working with resource loaded schedules in Microsoft Project.
Experience with Critical Path Analysis.
Extensive experience in aerospace program planning, financial controls, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Subject-matter expert in master scheduling techniques using SOW, WBS and earned value management of development and production programs.
Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
Must have a strong aptitude for learning new software applications.
Experience with development and/or manufacturing programs of commercial and/or high-end business jets strongly desired.
Demonstrated success in developing strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to reason through issues using logic and common sense.
Very strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid professional relationships with subordinates, peers, and management
Ability to drive accountability appropriately within the organization.
Ability to pivot, adapt quickly to change and function in a fast paced working environment.
Must be very diligent and detail oriented with the ability to be self-directed when given general guidance and parameters.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
