- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX
Responsible for all aspects of real time and post-flight processing of aircraft data, including recovery, computation, and display. Interfaces with technical personnel in the diagnosis and resolution of problems encountered in the recovery of test data utilizing various data systems, including Windows and Unix servers and specialized data processing equipment.
Position will require periods of working alternate shifts and occasional deployments in the CONUS. A combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent to the degree requirement. Case-by-case evaluation must occur. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
-Knowledge of instrumentation devices to develop, test, and troubleshoot data processing algorithms for aircraft data
-Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
-Demonstrate ability to work independently.
-Familiarity with bus protocols;
-Developing, writing and executing data processing acceptance test procedures;
-Implementation of Windows workstations on an enterprise network;
-Knowledge of IADS; IRIG Chapter 10 recording; TMATS; GPS and IRIG time standards and receiving devices
-Proficient computer skills and Windows10/Microsoft Office user experience.

Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
