- Chipton-Ross is seekin a Process Engineering Lab Support for an opening in West Greenwich, RI,
Drive excellence in key customer account logistics programs in GXP environments through metrics development, SLA adherence, development of savings initiatives, and service excellence.
Inventory management, ordering, tracking, shipping/receiving (log material receipt), raw materials, register all materials. Weekly management of solutions, maintenance of general lab stock. Hood Cleaning (monthly). Scale weight verification (quarterly). General lab support, non-pressurized activities, tote emptying, clean up. Process preparation (upstream and downstream), sample aliquots, pump calibrations, equipment prep, set-up and breakdown. Build assemblies for autoclaving. Passages and wave activities. Bioreactor operations, set-up, teardown, sampling. Media batching, support large scale batching 500L once per week. Performs other duties as assigned.
3-5 years of experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related field. SAP, SLA, KPI, and metrics development. Working in a laboratory environment preferred. Experience with GMP a plus. Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Teams). Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes team environment. Must be able to deliver excellent customer service. Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
Ideal hours Tuesday – Saturday (or minimally willing to support all minor weekend activities such as passaging or basic samples)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
