Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Administrative Assistant for an opportunity in Owego, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for assigned supervisor/manager or senior staff member. Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. May take and transcribe dictation; uses personal computers and standard desktop software to compose reports, correspondence, and memorandums; reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. May provide guidance and direction, as needed, to lower-level secretaries and other clerical employees.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years Administrative experience

Skills: Administrative Assistant experience. Strong organizational and follow through skills, communication skills, multi-tasking skills, strong working knowledge of MS Office Products. Ability to manage multiple calendars. Experience interfacing with all levels of management and external customers. Independent, self-starter who is able to operate a busy office and interface closely with other business units. Strong technical skills and teamwork skills.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time, 9/80A-1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
