- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for an opportunity in Marietta, GA
Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and produces such as laboratory simulations systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this nature. interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel. Selected candidate may operate and maintain existing laboratory venues.
- Experience in the use of Windows and Unix Operating Systems.
- 4+ years experience of software development in high order languages (C++, Java and/or Ada).
- Experience with software development tools and processes
- Experience (2 years or more) with at least one Infrared sensor or knowledge of the IR environment
Accredited BS+6-10 YRS or MS+4-8 YRS
