Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Designer 2 located in Kennedy Space Center, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses Computer Aided Design (CATIA) tools to develop and maintain mechanical/structural engineering product definition. Assists in preparation of basic design layouts and 3D models. Modifies existing designs. Verifies accuracy of technical data. Investigates and resolves routine manufacturing process or engineering related issues. Supports the maintenance of existing and creation of new processes and procedures by providing input related to routine aspects of the maintenance process. Assists the team with the use of scanners and trackers to collect as-built facilities, structural and ground support equipment data in support of NASA SLS program requirements. Works under general supervision.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

CATIA V5 - Preferred - Intermediate
DELMIA - Preferred - Intermediate


EDUCATION:
Accredited AS or BS degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
