Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Java Application Programmer for an opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advanced JAVA software development and maintenance support for application systems.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
3+ Years of experience in the following: Java v1.6 and higher, Javascript, JMS, Hibernate, XML, HTML, and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise and experience in the following: TOAD, SQLDeveloper, .NET, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Eclipse, JIRA, Rational Suite of Products (ClearCase, ClearQuest), Buildforge, Git / GitHub, Bamboo, Maven, WAS (Websphere Application Server), SQL Server, Spring Framework, and Agile development methodologies.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or related field is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
