Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Associate Technical Writer for an opening in Santa Clara, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Author in XML DITA applying technical writing best practices
Set up product manuals in content management tool
Handle product manual reviews and approvals
Handle multiple projects simultaneously
Deliver under tight deadlines
Follow all processes, style guides, templates, and brand guidelines
May involve working within a document control system

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience as a bench scientist preferred
Proficiency with oXygen DITA preferred
Ability to create PDFs using Adobe Acrobat
Ability to quickly learn new processes and software tools
Keen attention to detail and high regard for quality
Work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline. Advanced degree a plus.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
