Chipton-Ross is seeking a Human Factors Engineer for an opening in King of Prussia, PA.
The candidate for this position will perform User Experience/Human Factors activities in support of enterprise-wide projects. In this role you will be expected to apply knowledge of human factors engineering concepts to solve problems. You will also be expected to use your skills in the areas of user experience design and user experience research. As a human factors engineer on the User Experience (UX) team, you will be a key player in Clients exciting Business Transformation and serve as the end-user advocate. As part of user experience design responsibilities, you will perform the following user-centered design activities: task analysis, persona development, journey maps, user interface design, wireframing, prototyping, and heuristic reviews. As part of user research responsibilities, you will plan/recruit/conduct rapid quantitative and qualitative user studies, analyze the data, then present findings/recommendations to Client internal business customers and technical teams. Candidates must have 4 to 8 years of experience applying user-centered design on Agile projects as part of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated experience with project management, customer engagements, and supporting multiple projects simultaneously must be evident through work history. Candidates must be able to virtually share work samples and talk through their experience in these areas. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Masters Degree in Human Factors Engineering, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field. Between 4 to 8 years of experience in: o User Centered Design o Usability Testing o Heuristics Evaluations o User Case Analysis/Modeling o User Interface Design o Prototyping
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
9/80, 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
