Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Specialist 2 for an opening in Fairfax, VA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs assigned lower level and clearly defined project tasks and deliverables that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008). Provides reports, project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others. Develops negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve routine project performance commitments. Assists in the development and update of transition plans and schedules.

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
