Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stress Analysis Engineer for an opportunity in Baltimore, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.) Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgment on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained. Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyses the results. Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software, Nastran.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity and experience with other FEA tools such as ANSYS, other pre/post processor software, preferred. Candidate must have working knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool CREO/PRO-E. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YR

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time, 9/80A-1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
