Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineering Mechanical for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
The selected candidate will develop and release Engineering dispositions in an MRB system.
Investigate and provide Engineering dispositions for Requests for Information/Change (RCI).
Investigate and provide Engineering dispositions for Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
Provide status to leadership of all work in progress.
Act as mentor/coach to newer team members.
Work with CATIA V5 and MES systems.
Will support F35 program.
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 9 years' relevant experience; or 7 years with Masters.
Experience developing repairs and other dispositions.
The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Candidate must be comfortable in a shop environment and be able to collaborate closely with other disciplines both engineering and non-engineering related.
Experience with MES to disposition non-conformances.
Knowledge of, and proficiency with CATIA V5 design system.
Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward).
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university or Master's is required.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
