Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. RF Engineer for an opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
seeking a talented electrical engineer to develop and integrate complex electronic Test Sets and hardware units. The hardware development responsibilities include architecture design, detailed design, test, integration, customer briefings, and post-delivery support of satellite system Test Sets and ground units. The candidate will work closely with other engineering functions, including Flight Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Production, and Procurement to meet schedule and design requirements. The ideal candidate has a broad range of experience with design and integration of test systems and has familiarity with analog, digital, and RF technologies. This individual must be comfortable leading a small team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•Technical experience with supporting hardware development and validation utilizing antenna, RF, digital, or microelectronic technologies
•Experience with designing/analyzing/testing radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave antenna systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Master’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution
•Knowledge of baseband and digital signal processing, waveform design, and signal detection and estimation
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or another STEM degree from an accredited institution plus 9 years of experience in an Engineering Environment; OR, a minimum of 7 years of experience with a Master’s Degree in STEM OR a Doctorate of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an ABET accredited institution and 5 years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment

HOURS: 1st Shift
9/80 WORK WEEK
