Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Temp for an opening in Ann Arbor, MI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Temp examines products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
•Conducts visual and physical inspections/tests; approves or rejects products.
•Returns products for re-work; confirms re-work was successfully completed.
•During the inspection process, the Quality Temp may engage in preassembly-preparatory work such as cleaning of the housing, removal of excess adhesives, degreasing nuts and screws, and the greasing of O-rings and seal rings.
•Looks for any abnormalities such as dents, missing parts, and the general integrity of the product; check for minor cosmetic issues such as scratches, nicks and switch operations.
•Visually inspects the holographic image, glass components and housing by looking at the surface quality.
•Completes Housing inspection to assure product meets specifications and customer requirements.
•May require cleaning of smudges, removal of dust or debris and/or minor re-work.
•Documents inspection results by completing paper reports and log sheets; summarizing re-work and waste. When defects are found the Quality Temp notifies Quality Employees.
•Pack, label and scan throughout in-process production.
•Follows instructions, responds to Quality directions; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; completes tasks on time.
•Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to assure quality.
•Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
•Performs job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures.
•All other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•0-2 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

•Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
•Ability to have punctual and consistent attendance
•Flexibility to work to long hours of work when necessary

• Visual acuity unaided or corrected 20/30 at a distance of 14 inches with at least one eye
• Pass depth perception test with a minimum rating of 4
• Pass color perception test

Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
9/80, 6.30 am - 4pm
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
