Chipton-Ross is seeking a On-Call Employee Health Nurse 2 for an opportunity in Rancho Bernardo, CA.

Provides nursing services to employees or persons who become ill or suffer an injury
Administers first aid; operates dispensary
Attends subsequent dressings of injuries
Maintains patient medical records
Prepares accident reports
Provides health education information
Dispenses standard drugs and medicines such as aspirin and cough or cold tablets
Refers contagious diseases or serious injuries to company or employee’s physician
OSHA Recordkeeping
Maintains first aid kits and does monthly AED checks
Assists Wellness educators with coordination of Wellness Fair, blood drive, annual flu shot clinics and other miscellaneous Wellness and ESHM events
May assist with employees returning back from work
May assist with safety concerning ergonomic related questions and needs May support offsite locations
Requires nursing curriculum and registration by a state board of nursing.

Associates Degree plus 3 years of experience as a RN in an emergency room, urgent care, or occupational health setting:
Current certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers
Current certification in Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of workers' compensation procedures.
Certification in Occupational Health Nursing.
CAOHC and NIOSH Spirometry Certification.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and Osha regulations.

Associates Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

On- Call **Schedule is as needed- provide coverage for vacations, employees out sick and/or surge in demand***

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
