Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Scientist for an opening in South San Francisco, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Selected candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop and manufacture custom reagents in the qPCR product line. Candidate will participate in technical assessments and scheduling, prepare records and execute builds, as well as performing routine laboratory support tasks. Candidate will also work with extended R&D teams, providing support for various projects as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Qualified candidates must have a BS/MS/PhD in the field in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or a related field and a minimum of 1year laboratory experience. Technical and theoretical background in molecular biology is critical. Must have hands on experience with standard biotech laboratory and work practices (pipetting, balances, centrifuge, etc), as well as possessing strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in qPCR, product development, manufacturing support and/or quality control is desirable. The successful candidate will need to be able to work well within a team setting, while executing independently, as well as show initiative in experimental planning and addressing issues proactively.

EDUCATION:
Accredited BS/MS/PhD in the field in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or a related field
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
