Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Development Analyst 2 for an opportunity in Newport News, VA
Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
This position will specifically support:
• Participate in Governance Team meetings.
• Manage site owners for all sites within Trades Division.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with NNS policies, procedures and governance standards.
• Maintain communications within Trades Division.
• Manage project requests and priorities originating from your AOR.
• Complete projects assigned to your division.

Equivalency: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience. Master’s Degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree..
• Intermediate understanding of SharePoint
• Some experience developing Access Databases and metrics
Bachelor's degree. See required experience for equivalency.
School must be accredited.
First shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
This position will not require travel, driving, or clearance.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
