- Chipton Ross is seeking a Material Handler for an opening in Stuart, FL
o Receive, store and issue a wide variety of parts, details and hardware to support shop operations
o Store parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, identifying part and stored location
o Maintain necessary records, logs and reports on receipt and disbursement of supplies, establishing and modifying minimum/maximum levels to maintain shop operations
o Receive, or make up necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required, ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in kit
o Prepare and issue shortage and rush item lists and requisitions to replenish supplies and minimize shop delays
o Prepare material and paper work for return of overstock, wrong parts and defective or malfunctioning parts to parts control
o Operate material handling motorized equipment in the internal movement of parts, details and hardware and equipment in support of production requirements
o Immediately notifies issues and discrepancies to supervisor
o Perform good housekeeping chores in area
o May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
Warehouse Experience needed
Inventory Control experience
2+ years of experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift and OT when required.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
