- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opening in Eugene, OR.
Participate in the process of preparing prototype designs for production readiness.
Rigorously document part design, testing, revisions, assembly processes and theories of operation to support manufacturing.
Scope and determine tasks for project completion, risk identification and mitigation.
Understanding of electrical engineering principles in both analog and digital domains with the ability to leverage this understanding to quickly isolate circuit faults and troubleshoot schematics.
Ability to set up, perform, and document results of electrical tests to verify PCBA and sub-system function, execute testing utilizing Oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, voltmeters, etc.
Ability to use Altium Designer to produce and revise electrical drawings, modify schematics as needed.
Strong capability in Altium Designer. Candidates without Altium Designer experience will not be considered.
System cable design and prototype cable fabrication.
The candidate should have a track record of successful electrical system and subsystem troubleshooting and deployment.
Strong team player with good intrapersonal skills, excellent written and verbal skills.
Experience with full cycle design of custom electronics: schematic capture, sourcing components, develop test plans, hands on testing, and validate reliability and performance.
Accredited BSEE, MSEE, or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
