Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering and Lab Equipment Support for an opening in Frederick, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is primarily responsible for repair and maintenance of lab equipment. Candidate will have experience with troubleshooting equipment, identifying and ordering parts, and verifying repair status.
Performs routine maintenance on manufacturing instruments and automated equipment.
Troubleshooting of automated equipment used throughout the manufacturing process.
Performs accurately and efficiently routine tasks assigned by management and lead technician.
Works well with a variety of scientists/technicians.
Identifies problems or potential problems and reports them to his/her supervisor.
Understands and applies GDP guidelines consistently when documenting work.
General laboratory housekeeping.
Operation of laboratory glass washer/autoclave.
Inventorying and replacement parts and supplies.
Follows safety guidelines.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma with relevant experience
Associate Degree in related discipline

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
1st Shift
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
