- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer for an opening in Orlando, FL.
Applies electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results; construction of developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and quality testing. Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems.
The candidate will have experience in the skill set of CREO modeling and Windchill database use. They must also possess knowledge of documentation requirements and the use of PLM for a configuration management system.
Good communication and presentation skills also required. Familiarity with missile system techniques (relative to design techniques)is mandatory.
The candidate will be proficient with the following tools:
o Creo Parametric 2.0 M200
o Windchill PDMLink 10.2
o Microsoft Office Products
o Adobe Acrobat
The role will require proficiency in the following areas:
o Electro-mechanical design and packaging
o Break-out boxes
o Custom chassis
o Multi-bay test consoles
o Rack and stack
o Mechanical Fixturing
o Production test equipment
o Complete drawings with dimensioning, views, balloons and notes
o Parts list creation and correlation with drawings
o Drawing life cycle support capability
o Ability to work with vagueincomplete engineering input
o Knowledgeable on ASME Y14.100
Accredited BSME or BSEE with 3 years minimum experience required.
4/10, 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
