Chipton-Ross is seeking a Master Data Analyst for an opening in Center Valley, PA.

Master Data Governance Analysts are responsible for assessing and improving the quality of master data to drive efficiencies in business processes, and for developing data governance policies and guidelines to safeguard corporate information.

Responsible for the review, standardization, and de-duplication of various data domains
Monitor and remediate data quality issues
Serve as an advocate for data accuracy, data quality, and data integrity across the Divisions and Groups
Develop an understanding of end-to-end master data processes and flows, and the corresponding business processes
Provide system support and data quality governance for master data through data coordination and integration
Define and develop Data Governance policies and guidelines
Work closely with the PSG Data Governance Council members and Domain and Site Data Stewards and Data Owners
Conduct testing and system validation to troubleshoot non-routine and complex issues related to master data management and system
Develop master data domain definitions and associated data rules
Define and document master data business processes
Propose and implement process improvements in relation to master data processes
Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders regarding Master Data open items
Work with the development team to address and resolve system/field ambiguities and issues
Proactively identify system issues through the monitoring of error and exception reports, and work with manager, IT and other related parties including the business stakeholders to ensure appropriate actions are taken to sustain a high level of data quality
Proactively identify system enhancements through direct use of the system or through key business stakeholder feedback in order to increase operational efficiency, maintain high levels of data quality and increase end-user business value
Participate in the deployment of major and minor system releases by writing User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts, supporting UAT participants, and logging defects and ensuring their resolution
Compile metrics and reports to monitor and measure SLA’s and Performance, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables within the contracted SLA’s
Establish and maintain system documentation such as frequently asked questions, quick reference guides, work instructions, etc

Strong working knowledge of master data concepts, standards and processes
Experience with industry standard master data management applications is preferred, but not required (Informatica, SAP MDG)
Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred, but not required
Experience with SAP Client, Supplier, and Materials Master Data setup and maintenance is preferred, but not required
Understanding of data quality management principles and best practices
SQL coding skills to query databases for data analysis
Intermediate to advanced skills in data manipulation using Excel
Ability to manage and drive execution for multiple activities and self-manage day to day activities
Must be able to thrive in a collaborative environment building partnerships and trust
Comfortable with learning new systems, processes and complex data structures/concepts
A demonstrated ability to meet commitments
Capable and willing to master and apply new knowledge
Accepting and welcoming of additional responsibility over time
An ability to communicate successfully in various settings

Accredited High School Diploma/GED


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
