Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Digital Verification/Test Engineer Level 5 for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will join the Digital Products Department. The ideal candidate is an Engineer experienced in unit level (i.e. box) development. This person will work on developing test plans for MODEMs, routers and other types of communications hardware for air and space applications.

The responsibilities of this position include requirements assessment, developing verification plans, architecting and implementing verification environments, writing and executing tests, and documenting verification results to support requirements selloff. Candidate must have digital verification/test expertise


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- Minimum 14 years of relevant Verification experience
OR Master's degree plus 12 years of experience.
- familiarity with test equipment (Oscopes, Logic analyzers, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DOORs
- Familiarity with VHDL coding & verification

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek. 1st shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
