Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Writer for an opening in Fair Lawn, NJ.

Meet with department managers and SME to update procedures, ensure accurate content and put into current format. Review new or revised documents to ensure they are in the correct format before publishing. Assist department managers and SME in completing Document Change Request for new revised and obsolete documents. Put new/revised documents into the document control system. Work with department managers and SME to plan training on documents. Work with department managers to update or create training profiles/requirements for all employees and document accordingly. Update the training database as training records and requirements are created and update.

At least 2-4 years with identified above responsibilities in a Quality Assurance role in an ISO/cGMP, pharmaceutical, automotive, or aerospace environment. Proficiency of Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with Agile (Electronic document management system) a plus. Ability to travel between our two facilities in New Jersey (Bridgewater and Fair Lawn) on occasion. Results oriented work attitude that exhibits initiative, energy, drive, creativity, collaboration, assertiveness, diplomacy, and ambition. Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to be a team player, build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers; highly functioning team leader and team member in a multi-skilled, dynamic business environment. Strong technical writing required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Adaptable to change.

Accredited Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
