- Chipton-Ross is seeking a System Integration Engineering Technician for an opening in Santa Clara, CA.
The System Integration Engineering Technician is responsible for the following:
Installing and configuring software for customer systems (Windows, Emerson DeltaV, and other software packages as required)
Creating the DeltaV database and installing TruBio software and other Thermo Scientific software packages
Debugging and troubleshooting systems and equipment (including software and hardware)
Functionally testing and performing quality check-out of systems and equipment
Maintaining a close working relationship with our Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Service departments
Ensuring systems are configured per customer specific requirements
Documenting system parameters
Minimum 2 years engineering or technician experience
DeltaV or equivalent DCS experience preferred
Looking for someone with strong VBA understanding and Microsoft Suite. There will be Document creation revisions and edits required as we will also be performing a GAP assessment on the Integration SOP,WI, and DDS.
MS Office suite
Excel knowledge for macros and addons/linking files
Area of support needed:
Delta-V Area Creation & Save File Creation
Area/TruLogic FHX File Creation
DDS PDF Creation
DDS Document Approval process on (Agile)
Work with internal cross-functional team
Accredited Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
