- Chipton-Ross is seeking an AP/Payroll Specialist for an opening in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities include reviewing and entering weekly exception timesheets, processing special check requests through SAP payroll system, validating and reporting employee payroll information, assisting with benefit audits, assisting employee's understanding of payroll issues.
Entering invoices into the system, ensuring vendors are paid on time, invoices are approved by the appropriate people, and records are kept in order to satisfy SOX and PWC audits. Payable duties also include the resolution of any issues with vendor invoices are resolved in a timely manner.
Both responsibilities include account reconciliations; participation in the quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley audits; PWC audits, general administrative duties. There will be cross-functional training to act as backup to other Finance administrative roles.

• Accounts Payable experience

Accredited High School Diploma/GED, Associates degree in Accounting is preferred

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
