- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler I for an opening in Austin, TX.
o Pick and pack products for shipment, and related tasks – prepping materials and rotating stock.
o Manifesting orders for shipment.
o Inspection and acceptance of finished goods ready for shipment. Proper storage and organization of materials and finished goods.
o Cycle counting.
o Literature Fulfillment
o Other duties as assigned.
o Some computer experience preferred.
o No experience or training required.
o Experience with SAP resource planning software
o Experience in Shipping or Receiving, especially with FEDEX shipping software
o Self-motivated, quality conscious individual.
o Must be able to remain detail oriented in fast paced, high volume environment.
o Conscientious team player with strong work ethic.
o The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
o General orientation of product storage locations, storage conditions, and proper handling.
o Pulling orders. Pack verification and manifesting using bar code system. General packing guidelines.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
