Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sales Support Representative for an opening in Pittsburgh, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary duty of this position is to support Federally Rated Order with defined responsibilities acting on behalf of the salesperson and customer service to support processes, provide reporting and resolve issues that impact the customer experience and sales team productivity.

In performing the primary duties, the Sales Support Specialist exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to activity based problem resolutions in the company’s pursuit of business growth and prioritizing workload. Much of the time, this role will be making decisions around prioritizing issue resolution tasks and working with various functional areas and customers to resolve issues.

This role will perform work that requires knowledge of the RSD mainframe account/order (ERP) system, sales processes and other internal processes involving Customer Service, Finance, Pricing, Supply Chain, and other areas. The Sales Support Specialist partners with the RSD sales teams, and Shared Services departments to enable the sales team to maintain customer loyalty, improve customer satisfaction, improve sales productivity, support key business initiatives, and enable achievement of sales targets.

Prioritize, research, and resolve issues that impact the customer and sales productivity
Increase sales effectiveness by interacting with functional areas in the execution and follow through of sales processes that are administratively burdensome and time consuming for the sales and Production Customer Service Teams.
Help support screening of DPAS Rated orders to ensure fulfilment requirements
Help expedite order to ensure we meet all federal mandates.
Support the effort to request/allocate products to priority customers including DPAS Rated Orders.
Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of sales or sales support experience
Excellent organizational/teamwork skills.
Previous experience with mainframe and/or database systems.
This role operates within a matrix environment requiring the individual to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, to manage both competing requirements and concurrent project activity.
Strong project, time and stakeholder management competency is therefore essential to maintain several priorities and meet established deadlines.
Ability to manage self, including time and surrounding circumstances to deliver both short term and long-term goals.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and business partners in a professional manner in verbal and written mode.
Must possess computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
Must have working knowledge of RSD mainframe (ERP), Cognos and/or other business intelligence tool, and SFDC (CRM).
Ability to initiate, prioritize, and self-direct workload.
Strong orientation to accuracy and detail.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Associates Degree or equivalent, relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business preferred

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
