- Chipton Ross is seeking an Assembly Technician in Dry Ridge, KY.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for a variety of assembly functions in preparing automotive drive-train components and any related processes including painting, welding, material handling, problem-solving and training. The assembly technician must support our 100% on time delivery goal; our 100% quality rating goal and our production standards.
Ability to visually recognize the difference in parts
Ability to use hands to perform simple operations
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
Ability to lift 5 - 75 lbs. on a frequent basis
Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, grasp, and pinch on a continual basis
Ability to work with oils and lubricants
Ability to read and interpret instruction sheets
Ability to operate multi function machinery
Ability to work with or without supervision
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or Equivalent
Written and verbal communication skills
Strong team skills
Must be able to complete and pass pre-hire training program
Available to work any of the 3 available shifts
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Sign-on bonus: $100 to be paid in normal paycheck run after starting.
Must start and work full first assigned shift, between 9/14/20 and 10/30/20.
Tenure bonus: $900 to be paid in payment made the following payment run.
Must start and work full first assigned shiftbefore 10/30/20, and remain employed through 1/3/21.
Must have satisfactory attendance and performance Satisfactory attendance = cannot exceed 3% of total scheduled hours missed during that time frame.
Must still be employed (as a temp at Dana Dry Ridge or as a permanent Dana employee) when tenure bonus is paid out
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
