Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assistant Lab Manager for an opening in South San Francisco, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in inventory management, which covers receiving, organizing, stocking and distribution to research teams.
Carry out various laboratory day-to-day operations including lab organization (5S), perform lab asset management not limited to maintaining instrument calibration, servicing laboratory equipment, and managing equipment and asset database.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality requirements to be in compliance with lab certifications such as ISO 9001and 13485CFR21

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2 years experience working with MainSaver and working with computer databases.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge in clinical lab protocols and laboratory equipment and supplies.
Able to self-manage and work both independently and in coordination with Lab Manager
Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Process (GMP)
5S Lean
Practical Process Improvement (PPI)
Excellent attention to detail in record keeping and documentation
Able to communicate at all levels of the organization including managers and senior leaders in the organization.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Chemistry or equivalent disciplines.

WORK HOURS:
M-F, 9-5
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
