- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Accountant for an opening in Lenexa, KS.
Assist with implementation of new Corporate system - this includes cleanup of existing system, data prep, testing and implementation of new system
Review of recently implemented processes to ensure they are streamlined and efficient
Assist with implementation of new Corp policies including managing the process flow and keeping the project on track
Includes following up with stakeholders and making sure tasks are being completed on time
Ownership of the more complex tasks including taking raw data, formatting and verifying in order to post monthly entries. This piece will have some reconciliation and research needed
AP background a plus – will be assisting Vendors, Buyers and our AP group to research their inquiries
Will determine where the process has broken down and how to address it for each item in question
This includes making sure POs are receipted, invoices are loaded, payments are made on time
You will work with all groups to ensure the AP process flows from PO creation to Invoice payment
Learning our process and working through it is required to be able to work on the new Corp system implementation
Weekly meetings with the Accounting Manager to train on new projects and discuss status on existing projects
5 years of progressive accounting experience
Full-service ERP experience needed (SAP, Great Plains, Oracle)
Accredited Accounting Degree or Equivalent Work Experience.
1st Shift, 8-5 p.m. (this could be flexible but should be within normal business hours.)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
