- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Handler for an opening in Petaluma, CA.
You will be responsible for changing product on injection molding machines, moving supplies and products to/from the manufacturing areas by, hand truck or cart. Works with Molding and QC personnel to meet objectives and achieve metric goals.
Receive, locate, and transfer totes accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow established procedures and maintains a safe, clean working environment.
Participate in quality improvement efforts.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ability to follow instructions.
Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, the language used in the workplace.
6 months to 1 year experience related to manual work preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
Employees are required to wear smock, hair covering, mask and gloves while working.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Third Shift, 10pm-630am
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
