Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Inventory/Materials Assistant for an opening in Syracuse, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of cross-functional administrative and analytical tasks to ensure coordination of material with Engineering plans and schedules, such as purchases and tracks materials and supplies, expedites flow of material. Interacts with internal customers and outside suppliers regarding Engineering planning, material flow, problem resolution, and improvement.
Expedite material in accordance with Engineering schedules and commitments. Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders. Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.
Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to order, track, expedite, receive and build/pick kits to release to the floor.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
4/10, 1st Shift
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
