Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Review Engineer 1 or an opening in Ridley Park, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches and builds knowledge of client and engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues. Assists with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances. Assists system owner in preparation of technical communications. Identifies analyses fleet data, collects and evaluates data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues. Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety. Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Assists with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability.
• Researches and builds knowledge of Electrical engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.
• Assists with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances.
• Assists system owner in preparation of technical communications. Identifies analyses fleet data, collects and evaluates data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues.
• Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
• Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Assists with the design of interim Electrical repairs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent years work experience
• Experience working with aircraft electrical systems
• Experience performing trouble shooting

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working on aircraft electrical systems.
• Experience trouble shooting electrical/wiring installation and hook up issues.
• Able to develop corrective actions for complex issues with electrical/wiring installation and hook up issues.
• Ability to work with Model Based Drawings
• Ability to understand wiring schematics and diagrams
• Understanding or wire harness installation and fabrication
• Ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawing requirements
• Ability to work with people and develop relationships

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
