Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Digital 3 for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will join the Digital Products Department. The ideal candidate is an Engineer experienced in EM/Flight unit level (i.e. box) development. This person will work on developing test plans for modems, routers or other types of communications hardware for space applications.

The responsibilities of this position include requirements assessment, developing verification plans, architecting and implementing verification environments, writing and executing tests, and documenting verification results to support requirements selloff. Candidate must have digital verification/test expertise.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- Minimum 12 years of relevant verification experience or Master's degree plus 10 years of experience.
- Familiarity with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DOORs, working with Systems Engineering
- Familiarity with VHDL coding & FPGA/unit verification

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek.




Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
