Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Mechanical 2 for an opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design electro-mechanical products using 3D and 2D CAD tools. Candidate will be required to create, modify and maintain drawings of hardware. Such hardware includes, but is not limited to, electrical test equipment, test sets, drawers, custom cables, ground antennas and supporting facilities. Candidate will be expected to understand basic electrical requirements and translate those into a mechanical design. Design and drawings will be done using CREO and AutoCAD. Design and drawings will be stored in data management systems such as Intralink, Winchill, and Enovia. Candidate will be involved in program meetings as an integral member providing status updates, creating schedules, identifying staffing needs, identifying challenges and providing solutions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years related experience.


EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
