Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst for an opening in Tampa, FL .

This position will be located in Tampa, FL at USSOCOM, MacDill AFB. Candidate will interface day to day with customer personnel. Customer personnel consists of SOF AT&L Program Managers, J4, Service Components and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs). Support to the customers requires familiarity with the following processes: asset visibility, excess equipment management (disposal and redistribution), enterprise cataloging (DOD level) and property management. Perform property management activities including but not limited to receiving, posting, issue, disposal, and any other life cycle sustainment activities in support of the task order. Perform data cleanse, analysis, reconciliation, and stock record maintenance in the assigned Accountability Property System of Records (APSR). Perform DODAAC and UIC management support within logistics systems in order to ensure electronic legitimacy and data integrity are maintained. Provide research and assistance in locating NSNs and MCNs and associated logistics data. Provide research, analysis, assistance on policy, procedures, and business creation.

Compose and prepare various logistic-related correspondences. Solve identification issues using critical thinking, experience and causative research skills.
Prepares and presents oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations to include metrics to senior management regarding project status.

Knowledge of DoD property accountability, enterprise catalog, service supply chain regulations, policies, procedures, instructions and associated logistic support systems, i.e., Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), FEDLOG, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps / Army (GCSS-MC and GCSS-A), Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, completing multiple tasks and meeting stringent deadlines.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Be able to travel to CONUS locations by government or commercial conveyance as required.
Desired skills Experience working in property book operations at the tactical and strategic level.
Broad knowledge of DoD policy as it relates to property management, financial management, and cataloging (e.g. DODI 5000.64, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), DoD Financial Management Regulation, and DOD Manuals 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160.21, 4160.28, and 8320.04).

Possess an active Secret level security clearance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education, a minimum of 6 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management.
