Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Database Administrator for an opening in Pax NAS, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working directly with our customers at Pax Naval Air Station (NAS), Maryland, you will do everything from carrying out and sustaining system-wide backups, to disaster recover, support, and troubleshooting. Overall, you will monitor and maintain the overall health and status of the system.
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated SQL and database administration skills, which may include:
o Importing large data volumes and managing large Oracle and SQLServer databases
o SQL/PL-SQL knowledge to execute/troubleshoot scripts and performance tune databases
• Demonstrated system administration skills, to include:
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Storage Area Network Fabric systems and IP Switch Fabric systems


EDUCATION:
Level 4: BS+11 YRS or MS+9 YRS
