Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Planner for an opening in Sunnyvale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle.

Works from manufacturing plans, procedures and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements leveraging engineering and production specifications.
Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.

Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.

Identifies and eliminates process bottlenecks.
Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
Drive and lead teams in continuous improvement efforts- identify and addressing root cause situations and build systems to prevent and correct issues.

Effectively use prioritization mechanisms to utilize resources to complete the work on-hand and/or escalate issues to leadership so that resource needs can be addressed.

Drive and lead teams in continuous improvement efforts- identify and addressing root cause situations and build systems to prevent and correct issues.
Ensure safety is a top priority with active measures in place to support a safe culture.


EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
