- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr Staff Scientiist - Organic Polymer Surface Chemistry for an opening in Bedford, MA.
Our client is hiring an experienced synthetic organic chemist or chemical engineer with expertise in surface modification of polymers to join a team of scientists developing innovative new chromatography resins for the purification of biologics in biotech and biopharmaceutical settings.
Proven record in product development is required and experience in regulated environment preferred. Analytical background should include at least some of: U/HPLC analysis of biological macromolecules E&L studies of products intended for regulated industries, and typical tools of chemical analysis such as FTIR, NMR, LCMS, and GC/MS. Efficient experimental design (DOE) a plus, and willingness ability to work in matrixed environment is essential, leading and mentoring colleagues and working closely with team members on a daily basis.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
