Chipton-Ross is seeking a System Administrator for an opening in King of Prussia, PA.
-Management and operation of underlying components to the Enhanced Cybersecurity Services (ECS) system. To include; operating systems, network, storage, and firewall.
-Provide support for problem resolution reported by users or alerted by system health. Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose problems at network, system, and application layers. Assist in root cause analysis, developing and selecting solutions, implementing solutions, and evaluating outcome.
-Assist in support and implementation of major architectural and engineering changes with the system including platform and software upgrades driven by vendor EOL support, Program / customer enhancements, and custom software upgrades.
-Assist with delivery of weekly activity reports, including change management requests, issues reported, metrics, future plans, and expected outages.
-3-5 years of experience
-Unix/Linux command line experience
-System administration on Linux, Windows, ESX / VMWare platforms
-Operating system, hardware, application patch / vulnerability management
-Deployment / management of common hardware platforms
-Network engineering and administration
-Experience in working with log collection / SIEM platforms
-Knowledge of network protocols / technologies including; SMTP, DNS, IPSEC, NAT
-Knowledge of DoD SCIF, lab, and network security policies
