Chipton-Ross is seeking a Flight Line Inspector for an opportunity in Mesa, AZ

The successful candidate must have AH-64 experience in: product acceptance / inspection techniques, Non-Conformance Management (NCM), preflight, post flight, special inspections, flight control systems (assembly/rigging), hydraulic systems, engine / APU assembly installation and operation, Drive system assembly/installation and Flight Safety Parts. Additional requirements but not limited too are: ability to work in confined spaces requiring kneeling, crawling, climbing, and bending, knowledgeable and able to interpret and work from blueprints, Helicopter Process specification (HP), sketches and written, familiar with Army aircraft log books and DA PAM 738-751, and verbal instructions. Additionally, the successful candidate must be comfortable working in a team environment supporting a dynamic production flight test area.

•Follow blue prints, planning, technical manuals, special inspections, and written or verbal instructions for in-process and final inspections.
•Use various standard and precision instruments and equipment to perform inspections of aircraft structure, flight controls, power plants, armament, electrical, avionics, and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance to engineering and contract requirements and preservation or military specifications.
•Perform preflight, post flight, and special inspections, customer maintenance and quality documents, and client requirements.
•Work with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customer personnel to identify and document results of inspections to include acceptance or rejection data and documentation of nonconformance.
•May perform mechanical, electrical, or airframe installation, removal, rework and repair.
•Ensure all assemblies and detail parts are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and nonconformances issues. Check units for compliance using hand held precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, height gages and scales.
•Follow all safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions to safety officials or manufacturing supervision.
•Report on job status and restraints to coworkers and supervision.
•Identify production inefficiencies and suggests potential improvements to product or process.

•Knowledgeable and skilled in aircraft structural, power plant, and system operation and assembly methods, common shop practices, and quality control policies, procedures and processes.
•Knowledgeable and able to interpret and work from blueprints, sketches and written and verbal instructions.
•Knowledgeable and able to apply shop math.
•Knowledgeable and able to use computer systems for office and shop applications.
•Skilled in conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
•Skilled in listening and interpersonal participation, and able to work with others as part of a team which includes giving and receiving feedback, and assisting others in completion of tasks.
•Able to complete and maintain all required training and certifications needed to do your job efficiently.
•Able to work in confined spaces requiring kneeling, crawling, climbing, and bending.

Looking for AH64 inspection experience.

High School Diploma or Equivalent; specialized vocational or military training or an accredited Associate's degree and 3 to 5 years work related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS: Must be available to work any shift assigned: 1st, 2nd or weekend.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
