Chipton-Ross is seeking a QA Batch Release Clerk for an opening in High Point, NC.

Performs various required clerical and administrative tasks that are required for the maintenance and control of Batch release to ensure compliance to the approved documented procedures. Serves as back-up for bulk label printing.

Maintains database systems for Batch Release. Compiles supply orders for QA. Files, retrieves files/retains, photocopies upon request. Serves as back-up reviewer for Batch Release and IPQA as needed to maintain low WIP. Serves as back-up for bulk label printing if needed. Other duties as required by management.

Ability to calculate rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to use a PC and the following software: Microsoft Office suite, SAP and window based applications.

The employee may occasionally push/pull/lift/carry up top 25 pounds. Vision should be correctable to 20/20. The ability to distinguish color is required.

The employee may occasionally be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is moderate.

When entering production areas, hearing protection, hair cover, gloves, approved safety shoes, respirator and safety glasses are required.

Accredited High School Diploma/GED


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
