Description
Chipton Ross is seeking a Lab Technician in Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities:
Maintains laboratory equipment, calibrations etc.

Work on Gas Chromatograph and its calibrations, maintenance and testing the samples

Backs up laboratory data

Monitors laboratory supply inventory

Follow housekeeping and safety procedures to insure personal safety and the safety of others.

Attend daily meetings and provide routine communication to lab needs. Follow up these communications in writing, telephone or e-mail as needed.

Routine use of a computer to communicate via e-mail, complete online training and other tasks as assigned.

Train peers in use of operating systems and procedures, and assists with procedure reviews if applicable
Monitors microbial performance for raw materials and finished goods. ·

Completes required training.

Supports all AIMS initiatives.

Ensures workplace safety by conducting safety observations and reviews while adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

All other duties as assigned

Education:
High School Diploma required

Schedule:
Full time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
