Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking two Nurse Employee Health 2's for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides nursing services and first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities. Delivers OSHA and job/site required surveillance program services such as hearing conservation or biological monitoring to employee populations in collaboration with appropriate functional teams. Maintains accurate recordkeeping in compliance with OSHA requirements; provides health promotion and disease prevention strategies; provides counseling, health education and training programs as applicable. May work with industrial toxicology and/or hygienists to recognize environmental factors and/or stresses in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or discomfort among the workers. May be required to assist with administrative tasks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree.
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).

Additional Information:
Preferred 3 years experience in occupational or emergency room settings but other experience will be considered
ACLS
Will be performing PFT and return to work assessments
Will occasionally be required to use needles

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
Possible shifts:
1st = 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
2nd = 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Combo = 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
