Chipton-Ross is seeking a Engineer Structural 3 for an opportunity in Lake Charles, LA.
Analyses will be in support of Material Review Board (MRB), Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) and fleet management activities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME/AE/CE) with minimum of 9 years of experience in structural analysis.
Candidate should be proficient in classical static strength hand analysis, Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) analysis.
Should be able to develop and document detailed structural analyses in support of drawing release or aircraft repairs including but not limited to free body diagrams, internal or external loading, shear and moment diagrams, and calculation of internal stresses.
Knowledge of Airworthiness Directives (ADs),
and Service Bulletins (SBs), large transport aircraft structural design criteria, and nonstandard repair and equivalent strength analysis background is a plus. Familiarity with MRB related activities and B707 airframe including Boeing drawings and Boeing analysis techniques a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ME/AE/CE)
School must be accredited.
5/40 work week
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
