Chipton Ross is seeking a IT SOX Coordinator/Analyst.

Responsibilities:
**REMOTE POSITION - Candidate can reside anywhere in the US**
The IT SOX Compliance Coordinator must have a strong understanding of SOX controls. Will provide leadership for the day-to-day operations for IT Compliance activities, throughout the IT organization, including the I.T. Outsource contractors to ensure compliance activities are moving forward with attention to detail. Coordinate audit activities with internal and external resources and tracking of current controls to include key metrics for tracking and reporting purposes. Establish internal dashboard to report 'at-a-glance' audit status by SOX control or other IT audits (excluding NIST). This position is located at our facility in Sacramento, CA.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
60% - Coordinate, track and report on IT audit-related activity, from initiation, through completion of audits, internal and external. Drive toward closure, completeness and accuracy for all audit responses, with efficiency and time-management improvements as momentum increases throughout the audit cycle. Identify process improvements, training opportunities, automation opportunities, update documentation, other responsibilities as they arise during the audit cycle. Provide oversight on controls performed by IT outsource contractors. Continue transition of remaining controls to IT outsource contractors.
15% - Provide direction, mentoring and coaching to team members, IT staff members and IT outsource providers with an emphasis on IT SOX controls
10% - Provide backup support for Release Management and Change Control activities and oversight during peak periods.
15% - Provide administrative support for Lockheed Martin Transition team information/evidence request.

Education
Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and three (3) years of directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

Work Schedule
1st Shift, 5/40 or 9/80 schedule will be required.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
