Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronic Assembler for an opening in Manassas, VA.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of duties in manufacturing and final assembly.
Build and populate electronics, cabinets, route cables, perform pressure tests, populate as-built-list (ABL) templates, conduct continuity checks, prep units for customer delivery, and assists with customer and quality inspections.
Works from engineering drawings, electronic work instructions, and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment – torque wrenches, small hand tools, hand trucks, pressure test station, pull test equipment, etc.
Uses Loctite and other compounds and solutions.
Responsible for accurate record keeping, time recording, and safety training.
Uses the computer to access work instructions, log discrepancies/issues, log time, enter ABL information, and communicate via email.


REQUIREMENTS:
Prior Electronics Assembler experience


EDUCATION:
HSD/GED
BS Degree is NOT required for this position but is preferred

SHIFT:
4/110-1st Shift


MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.





Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
