Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Designer III for an opening in Remote, FL.
The candidate will be responsible for conceptual layout through fabrication of new airframe related structural assemblies and required to work closely with Production Operations to develop producible solutions.
Prefer 15 years of experience minimum.
Experience with all aspects of mechanical design, including layout and design documentation. 5 to 10 experience of creating PRO E/CATIA drawings and drawing release. Proficiency with PRO E/CATIA and Intralink is require. Knowledge of LMC drawing release procedures is desire. Good knowledge of all aspects of Mechanical engineering is essential.
Excellent verbal, presentation, trade study and written skills, be able to work with and support a diverse team of design personnel, internal mechanical engineering, and support organizations, managing supplier input and developing internal documentation to meet contractual TDP delivery expectations throughout program execution.
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related education and experience.
