Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer 1 or an opening in Oklahoma City, OK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs limited structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Participates in various test activities substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Works under close supervision.
Position Responsibilities: Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. Supports in-service products sustainment by investigating failures, analyzing improvements and aircraft modifications. Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate that requirements are satisfied for customers and regulatory agencies. The right candidate will perform basic structural analysis tasks using well defined analysis tools to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications in the operational environment. The candidate will assist and participate in various team projects working with peers, program managers, regulatory agencies and operational users. Works under general supervision.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of structural repair principles (e.g., fatigue and corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques). Elementary knowledge of structural repair, overhaul, nondestructive inspection, corrosion control, and composites. Knowledge of relevant tools to carry out structural analysis. Ability to analyze problems (troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, modification, or redesign) of assigned end items to support the design, development and modification of aerospace products using knowledge of engineering disciplines.

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED:
CATIA data entry

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor of Science Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates will need to be local to OKC as this position will be on-site and virtual.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
